LIZZIE KIMBUGWE

Lizzie is a comprehensively trained pilates instructor working originally with Alan Herdman, the man who bought Pilates to the UK. She has then continued her education and practice to specialise in rehabilitation and postnatal care; with multiple successful client results across back pain, hip/knee replacements, impinged shoulders, abdominal mesh surgery, diastasis, prolapse and many more.

Lizzie works with multiple local physios and women’s health physios to support her clients care. Whilst she is trained extensively across almost all Pilates equipment, she recognises that empathising with a clients mental well-being is equally as important as the exercises required. Her passion for understanding the connected body will ensure you are in safe hands.

But don’t be fooled… as an ex GB athlete she knows a thing or two about structuring a challenging class too.

Whatever level you are at, Lizzie’s warmth and energy will make you feel like you can achieve the unachievable- physically and mentally.

Liesel Gaumann

Liesel’s love of Pilates began early on as it complimented her training in classical ballet and athletics and helped improve her strength, stamina and flexibility.
After completing studies in Psychology and spending a number of years working in a corporate environment, she experienced chronic low back, neck and knee pain so returned to a regular Pilates class which significantly improved her symptoms. It also inspired her to complete her Mat Pilates teacher training to assist others who had experienced similar issues.

Liesel went on to complete her full Reformer training with APPI, a Level 4 Certificate in Physical Activity for Low Back Pain, Level 3 Certificate in Nutrition for Physical Activity and the Level 3 Diploma in GP Exercise Referral and now teaches Pilates and mobility classes for people of all ages and fitness levels. With a mindful, empathetic teaching style, she makes sure each class is varied and tailored to individual needs. She believes strongly that loving whatever you do in life is key to success and so her classes are not only detail-oriented but also enjoyable!

Tilly Heath

I discovered pilates back in 2012 as my own little magical escape from the fast paced world of digital marketing. The changes I saw in myself mentally as well as physically were phenomenal and it soon led me to realise that the best way to cultivate my strength was from the inside out.

After many years of personal practice I took the leap to train as a mat and reformer pilates instructor in 2019 with STOTT and turn a dream into reality.

I am hugely passionate about teaching pilates and helping people on their personal journeys, becoming stronger each class. I love classic pilates but I enjoy being creative with my own training, and that has naturally filtered into how I approach my clients’ development which fits well with Nubodi’s ethos of ensuring dynamic creativity within classes.

Greta Wright

Greta is a STOTT Pilates Matwork and Reformer instructor who has been working in the fitness industry for 9 years. She has taught Barre, Fitness and Dance, and now specialises in teaching Pilates in both group and 1-1 settings.

As part of her Pilates training, Greta has qualified to teach those with injuries and special conditions as well as pre and post natal clients.

A former dancer Greta trained at The Royal Ballet School and performed in both Spain and Germany. Her greatest happiness is found in movement! She loves sharing this with clients, helping them understand and embrace their bodies. She strives to lead sessions that are functional, strengthening and mobilising the body, but always with the intention of bringing enjoyment. She has been lucky to work with clients of all age and ability levels, helping them achieve their goals!
